Linda Ann Briggs DNP, ANP-BC, ACNP-BC, FAANP

Dr. Linda Briggs is an associate professor and the program director for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at George Washington University. She is a past president of the Nurse Practitioner Association of the District of Columbia. She serves on the Cardiovascular Steering Committee for the National Quality Forum which evaluates and endorses quality measures for national and regional health care organizations. Dr. Briggs has written numerous articles and book chapters predominantly addressing cardiovascular care and nurse practitioner issues. In 1989, she co-authored a book on nursing diagnosis that received an American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award.
