Oralea A Pittman
DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP
Ms. Pittman has practiced in a variety of settings across the U.S., including Puerto Rico, during 28 years as a nurse. For 20 years, she has worked as an FNP in community health centers and currently in a rural family practice residency clinic. She serves as a graduate teaching assistant at The Ohio State University in the FNP program while working on her DNP. As a preceptor of many NP students, she is interested in how students are precepted and has presented on this at AANP and AACN. She received the AANP Excellence in Practice award for Ohio in 2006.
