Brenda L Hoskins-Mein
DNP, ARNP, GNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Hoskins-Mein is an entrepreneur, an educator, and a leader in advanced practice nursing. As the first to establish an NP owned primary care long term care practice in Iowa, she has provided care to the frail elderly for 13 years. She was instrumental in the implementation of the DNP program at the University of Iowa, has provided leadership to her state organization Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society in many roles, as well as served on national committees and interdisciplinary state advisory councils. She is an active speaker on business education for advanced practice nurses and a variety of subjects in gerontology.
