Sandra C DiSanto

Dr. DiSanto is an Associate Professor at Eastern Michigan University and the Lead NP for Trauma/Critical Care with Oakwood Healthcare System. Dr. DiSanto is serving her second term on the Nominations committee for AANP. She is an expert clinician with over 20 years of critical care experienced a Fellow of the AANP. Dr. DiSanto is a proven leader who has implemented and developed two successful critical care nurse practitioner programs. Research interests include Inter Professional Global Healthcare and teaching Medical Spanish to nurses. She is recognized for being a clinical expert, educator and leader. She has completed a year long fellowship in leadership . Dr. DiSanto is dedicated to promoting NP education, health policy, clinical practice and research globally.
