Angela K Golden
DNP, FNP-C, FAANP, FOMA
Dr. Golden has proudly served AANP as Arizona state representative, Regional 9 Director, Secretary, and as the President of AANP finishing her term June, 2015. Angela has excelled in academic and professional leadership, practice and service. Colleagues have recognized her over the years with awards in excellence for teacher of the year, certified flight nurse of the year, outstanding school nurse and the AANP NP Arizona Award for Excellence. Dr. Golden owns her own family practice in Munds Park, AZ and an obesity practice in Flagstaff, AZ. She received her doctor in nursing practice from Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ with an emphasis in evidenced based practice and health policy. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters, and was the editor of the Shaping Policy, Improving Practice column and a co-editor of Mobile Apps for Nurse Practitioners in JNP. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally on varied topics related to nursing and advanced practice with a special emphasis on health policy issues, technology, and obesity.
