Gale Adcock is an FNP and Chief Health Officer at SAS Institute, a global software company that provides free onsite primary care to employees and dependents from newborns to elders (14,000 patients). 

Gale speaks across the country about SAS' health care model and serves as a consultant to corporations interested in emulating it. She is a principal co-investigator for two published studies of the SAS corporate health model. She is a popular speaker on leadership, political advocacy, and disparities in NP scope of practice based on state statutes and regulations. She has held a variety of state and national nursing and NP leadership positions.

Gale is serving her third term in the NC House of Representatives, where she is the first APRN to be elected to the North Carolina legislature. She previously Prior to serving served two terms on the Cary Town Council, including 3 years as Cary Mayor Pro-Tem.
