Alicia Gill Rossiter Lt Col, USAFR, NC, DNP, FNP, PPCNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN

Dr. Alicia Gill Rossiter has significantly impacted the healthcare outcomes of her patients, military healthcare, and NP education initiatives. She is an Associate Professor and the Program Director for the Veteran to BSN program and the Military Liaison at the University of South Florida (USF).  She recently retired from the USAF Reserves where her last assignment she served as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of nursing at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences.  Dr. Rossiter completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in May 2015.  During her Doctoral program at USF she was selected as a Bob Woodruff Jonas Veteran Healthcare Scholar and an American Academy of Nursing Jonas Policy Scholar with the Military and Veteran Health Expert Panel.  Her research interests include women veterans and military sexual trauma; military-connected children and the impact of parental military service on dependents; and transitioning medics/corpsmen into the professional role of nursing.
