Lorraine Reiser
PhD FNP-C FAANP
Dr. Reiser is currently practicing on an unbridged island on the coast of Maine. She has incorporated her passion for access, interdisciplinary care, and quality NP educational practices throughout her 18 years as faculty and her 20 years of clinical practice previously in under served clinics in Pittsburgh and currently in rural Maine. She mentors and precepts students. She was the AANP Region 3 Director for 6 years, and was active in the National Organization of NP Faculty for over 15 years. She currently serves as the Secretary for the FAANP Executive Committee. In her clinical practice incorporates care models to improve health in under served populations. Her research focuses on factors influencing health beliefs and behaviors, targeting strategies to promote lifelong healthy lifestyles.
