| I thought I would put a quick note here to at least let people know that there's someone from Region 3 hanging out on these forums from time to time. I'm an FNP in private family practice in Northern Virginia, and I'm increasingly active on the board of the Northern VA Council of Nurse Practitioners. I'm a relatively new NP (just over a year of clinical practice). Anyone else out there?

| Hi Kelly! I just came across this forum today for the first time. My name is Tracy, I am a new ANP (just graduated in May 09), currently working for a group that cares for the elderly in the home settings. I am just getting my feet wet with trying to become involved with some of the NP organizations in Pennsylvania. I look forward to chatting with you!

| Hi Kelly and Tracey, This is Kathy from Maryland. I'm an old, I mean, experienced NP, with over 12 years experience as an adult NP, in cardiac and Occupational Health. I am presently working as an Occupational Health Manager for McCormick and Company in Hunt Valley Maryland. So how are you liking the job so far? It's a fun career, with so many ways to practice. | Hi,Kelly, Tracy and Kathleen. My name is Bonnie and I'm from Maryland. Just discovered this site today. Kathleen, if you're old, I'm ancient! I've been an FNP for 25 years, currently working in substance abuse. Just returned to school at UVA in September, started work on my DNP degree. Look forward to sharing ideas with all of you.
